This project proposes to create the foundations for transparent and sustainable management of Prunus africana in relation to the decisions adopted at CoP17 on this species. The aim is to gather information on the research, development, exploitation and processing of the Pygeum (Prunus africana), with a view to providing clear answers to the recommendations made by the CITES Standing Committee on Cameroon during the 70th session. The project will be executed by the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife (MINFOF) through the Forestry Department with the support of ANAFOR, CITES Scientific Authority Flore.
